The mission of the Friends of Saint Benedict Center is to protect the faithful Catholics of the Saint Benedict Center in New Hampshire, and the innocent students of the Center's Immaculate Heart of Mary School, from the heavy handed attempts by the scandal ridden Diocese of Manchester to close down both institutions.
The FoSBC intends to carry out this mission in three ways:
To ensure that the canonical rights of the Saint Benedict Center and its religious community—the Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary—are upheld in the ecclesiastical courts of the Catholic Church, including the highest tribunals of the Apostolic See in Vatican City.
To ensure that the legal rights, including the right to be free from defamation, of the Saint Benedict Center and its religious community are, if necessary, upheld in civil law.
To ensure that the campaign of disinformation being waged in the secular media against the Saint Benedict Center and its religious community by the Diocese of Manchester is countered by a vigorous defense of the truth in the public square.
